The Bi+ Maker’s Market is an online space hosted by the Bisexual Resource Center, featuring the shops of bi+ artists and crafters from around the world. The BRC created this Market to bring together the bi+ community during the summer of 2021, when many in-person pride celebrations were canceled for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the Market aims to showcase talented small bi+ vendors who may not otherwise get the same exposure due to the multiple disparities faced by bi+ folks every day.
Visitors to the market can find a variety of handmade and artisan-designed goods, from stickers and buttons to ceramics and stuffed friends. The goods range from Pride gear to home decor, and all the vendors are in the Bi+ community.
The Bisexual Resource Center is a US-based nonprofit organization that works to connect the bi+ community and help its members thrive through resources, support, and celebration. Through this work, the BRC envisions an empowered, visible, and inclusive global community for bi+ people. Find out more on our website: www.biresource.org.
